Job Description
Accounting Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and team management. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial processes, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support leadership with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and operational improvements. This role will also serve as a key financial partner by helping monitor company performance, cash flow, and strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, and reconciliations Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Review and approve invoices, credit memos, deposits, and vendor payments Supervise and support accounting staff through training and performance management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis Prepare financial reports and insights for leadership and business planning Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Resolve billing issues and support client communications Support process improvements and internal financial controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Experience in accounting management or a similar leadership role Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning is a plus
