This role oversees accounting entries, reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly reporting for LTSA, Capex, and ARO. Job Description Key Accountabilities Directs the monthly closing process for LTSA, Capex, and ARO, including the approval of journal entries, support variance explanations, and completion of monthly/quarterly reports. Uses knowledge of GAAP, company policies and energy industry to oversee accounting and reporting for Vistra's long term service agreements (LTSA), Capex, and ARO liabilities. Responsible for review and approval of account reconciliations and ensures all account reconciliations are complete in support of our quarterly SEC filing process. Directs annual ARO liability update process to ensure ARO liability and corresponding ARO assets are complete and accurate. Ensures systems and processes are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles & SOX controls. Develops, and motivates a skilled staff to ensure leadership continuity, technical excellence and high productivity. Oversees updates to complex LTSA projection model, which tracks to costs for LTSA outages and projects when outages will be performed. Communicates accounting issues and recommended solutions to accounting leadership team. Ensures cooperative, collaborative and productive cross-functional relationships are built and maintained. Drives continuous improvement and standardization across the Controllership team. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. Understands the financial close process and monthly/quarterly cycles. Minimum of 7 years of accounting/finance or similar work experience.

knowledge. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of business process design and SOX controls. Demonstrated ability to identify problems and issues, integrate data and intuition from a variety of sources, draw valid conclusions, and develop solid plans of action. Excel, Word and PowerPoint application skills.
