Manages the daily accounting operations and staff. Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and banking relationships. Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assist with review of the daily financials for any large fluctuations 2. Review and approve assigned EOM reconciliations and daily accounts payable batch 3. Assist Controller with budget process 4. Perform semi-annual review of all department job procedures to ensure they are current

Other Job Functions:

1. Perform annual evaluations and quarterly "Snap Chat" performance reviews of staff 2. Assist in the hiring, training, and mentoring of new employees 3. Perform monthly variance analysis of Due From Bank account analysis statements 4. Responsible for general ledger account maintenance per instruction of Controller and maintaining general ledger chart of accounts 5. Other duties as requested by Controller or other management representatives of the bank.

Requirements Qualification Requirements:

1. Accounting degree; and five (5) years' experience in bank accounting and five (5) years prior management experience preferred. 2. Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge/skills. 3. Must be proficient in 10-key. 4. Knowledge and comprehension of accounting principles (GAAP) 5. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, research, and data analysis abilities; proficient in multitasking. 6. Effective leadership, interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills. 7. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions to manage, train, and support colleagues and other departments. 8. Ability to perform effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume setting, consistently exercising sound judgment and making informed decisions 9. Exhibits excellent communication abilities—both verbal and written—as well as strong organizational and time management skills 10. Pays close attention to detail, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and demonstrating integrity 11. Ability to maintain strict customer and bank confidentiality 12. Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity 13. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.

General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:

1. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate work station. 2. Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time. 3. Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions: 1. Atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation; 2. Changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches. 4.
