JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role leads the month-end close process, manages key accounting functions, and partners with leadership to provide financial insights that support business decisions and organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Five plus years of full cycle accounting experience. Strong GAAP knowledge. ERP and Excel proficiency. Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Full-Cycle Accounting (managing financial transactions from entry to financial statements). Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and review financial reports. Analyze variances and provide insights. Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy of financial data. Maintain and improve accounting systems. Ensure GAAP compliance. Maintain internal controls. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance and identify problem areas and take corrective action. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
