Onsite Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Contractor to support the Finance Manager during a Leave of Absence (LOA). The contractor will be responsible for managing key financial tasks, including Retail OpEx reporting, budget requests, system approvals, invoice validation, and expense forecasting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Retail OpEx Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze Retail OpEx reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies. Monitor and track OpEx expenses, identifying trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Budget Requests and System Approvals:
Assist in preparing and submitting budget requests for Retail OpEx. Ensure timely and accurate submission of system approval requests.
Invoice Validation and Approval:
Validate and approve invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
OpEx Expense Forecasting and Validation:
Develop and maintain OpEx expense forecasts to support financial planning. Validate expense data to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgetary goals.
General Financial Support:
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or expense management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, Excel). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Retail OpEx reporting or similar financial roles. Knowledge of company-specific financial systems and processes. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
