This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategies, ensure compliance with global accounting standards, and support sustainable growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance, empowering the organization to achieve its mission with confidence and clarity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and strategic thinking, combined with exceptional leadership skills to inspire teams and influence decision-making. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger management, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to optimize financial performance. Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets. Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret financial statements, and communicate insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making. Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable/receivable processing, and banking relationships. Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met accurately and timely across governmental and non-profit sectors. Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits to maintain transparency and accountability. Drive continuous improvement in financial software systems and automation processes for efficiency gains. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning initiatives related to finance, investments, and organizational growth. Requirements Proven experience in financial management roles with a strong background in corporate or non-profit accounting. Extensive knowledge of
IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606
standards, and technical accounting principles. Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting, treasury management, and cost accounting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports. Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing finance teams or cross-departmental projects. Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills for financial report writing and analysis. Ability to develop strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives while maintaining compliance standards. Exceptional communication skills for clear articulation of financial concepts to diverse audiences. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable.
