- Full-time The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, payroll, treasury, compliance, and operational reporting functions for the organization.
This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintains internal controls, manages cash flow and banking relationships, and supports strategic business planning through financial analysis and KPI reporting. The position is responsible for accounts payable and receivable processes, payroll administration, tax filings, inventory accounting, insurance and risk management activities, and the effective use of financial systems including Sage 50 and ARMS POS/reporting software. The Accounting Manager works closely with executive leadership to support budgeting, profitability analysis, operational efficiency, and overall financial health of the company. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibility Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and double-entry bookkeeping Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems; experience with Sage a plus Experience with accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations Familiarity with internal controls, regulatory compliance, and treasury operations Excellent analytical, communication, and mentoring skills with the ability to lead teams and improve processes
