Credit Union Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution 1+ years of supervisory experience managing teams Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial institution accounting, and internal controls Familiarity with credit union regulations and Call Report preparation preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting or core processing systems Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Credit check required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience managing accounting staff Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance Experience with general ledger, account reconciliations, accruals, month-end close, and financial statement preparation Familiarity with NCUA regulations, Call Report preparation, and regulatory filings preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/core processing systems Support internal/external audits and regulatory examinations Lead accounting operations, process improvements, automation initiatives, and team development Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial data
Pay:
