Overview:
Our client is a dynamic, boutique wealth management firm dedicated to educating clients and empowering them to live their best lives. The firm delivers personalized, holistic financial plans and supports clients through every stage of their financial journey. They provide comprehensive, fee-based financial planning and investment advisory services, including retirement planning, education funding strategies, holistic wealth management, and risk management solutions. The firm is seeking an Investment Specialist to support investment operations, client service, and Advisor collaboration, while also contributing to investment analysis and case preparation. This role offers strong growth potential, including the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and mentor others as the team expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end preparation and execution of investment account documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all client onboarding and maintenance activities Maintain and enhance client records, performance reporting, and account documentation in alignment with firm standards and regulatory requirements Coordinate and curate materials for quarterly and annual client reviews, partnering closely with Advisors to deliver a high-quality client experience Develop customized investment proposals and Investment Policy Statements tailored to client objectives and long-term strategies Partner with Advisors on asset allocation, portfolio construction, and broader financial planning initiatives Contribute to investment analysis, including portfolio reviews, allocation insights, and supporting research efforts Collaborate in case preparation, working closely with Advisors and planning team to support client recommendations and strategy development Execute trades across client portfolios with precision, ensuring alignment with investment models and client mandates Serve as a key liaison with custodians and internal teams to address operational inquiries and streamline workflows Uphold and reinforce compliance standards, ensuring all processes adhere to regulatory and firm guidelines Deliver a high-touch, relationship-driven client experience, acting as a trusted point of contact for ongoing needs Engage directly with clients and prospects to facilitate account setup, documentation completion, and follow-up requests Administer and evaluate client risk tolerance assessments, incorporating insights into portfolio recommendations Balance analytical responsibilities with execution of operational and client service tasks Support training and onboarding of new team members, with potential to take on leadership responsibilities over time
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of experience in financial services, investment operations, or related field; additional experience strongly valued Series 7 license required Life and Health Insurance license preferred CFA candidate preferred or demonstrated interest in pursuing the designation Strong analytical mindset with interest in investment research and portfolio construction Ability to balance detailed operational execution with higher-level investment analysis Strong client service skills with excellent written and verbal communication Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality Demonstrated potential or interest in mentoring, training, and developing others
