Controller / Finance Manager - Multi-Entity Company

About the RoleWe are a growing family-owned enterprise operating in oil & gas manufacturing, cattle/ranching, meat processing, retail markets, restaurants, and real estate.

We are seeking a Controller / Finance Manager to lead financial operations across multiple interrelated companies. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong accounting expertise, operational awareness, and the ability to manage complexity. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Manage monthly financials across multiple entities Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and banking relationships Lead A/R, A/P, and payroll functions Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations Support manufacturing financials (costing, inventory, margins) for oil & gas operations Build and improve financial systems, controls, and processes Lead and develop the accounting team Provide financial insight and reporting to ownership ⸻ SystemsCETEC (preferred), Sage, QuickBooks, Square, Microsoft Office (Excel required) ⸻ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience in accounting/finance leadership Manufacturing accounting experience required (costing, inventory, WIP) Experience with multi-entity financial management Proven ability to lead people and manage a department ⸻•What We're Looking ForA hands-on leader who can bring structure to a growing organization, is comfortable in a family business environment, and can manage both day-to-day execution and high-level financial oversight. ⸻•Apply with resume and brief summary of relevant experience.
