Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Revenue Cycle Account Manager to oversee multiple client accounts and ensure optimal performance throughout the revenue cycle. This role serves as the primary liaison between our organization and healthcare clients, managing all aspects of billing operations, collections, denial management, account performance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong healthcare revenue cycle expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build client relationships while driving operational and financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Client Account Management Manage a portfolio of healthcare client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned organizations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Revenue Cycle Directors, Billing Managers, and Finance Executives. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing account support. Conduct regular client meetings to review account performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and align on strategic goals. Revenue Cycle Oversight Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle for assigned clients, including: Medical billing Accounts receivable management Collections Denial management Payment posting Revenue performance analytics Monitor and analyze AR productivity, including charges, payments, collections, and adjustments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Identify revenue barriers and implement corrective actions to improve financial outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure timely claim resolution. Business Growth & Client Success Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services, software solutions, and revenue cycle support offerings. Partner with sales, implementation, customer support, marketing, and product development teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Support client retention efforts through proactive account management and strategic relationship building. Coordinate and oversee onboarding and implementation activities for new clients to ensure successful adoption and long-term success. Reporting & Analytics Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, revenue metrics, customer feedback, and industry trends. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on client performance data. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure success, and support decision-making. Internal & External Communication Manage communications regarding company initiatives, client objectives, and operational priorities. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and expectations. Maintain professional and effective communication across all levels of the organization and client teams. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare revenue cycle management experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an in-person client-facing role. Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management processes, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, and denial management. Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction, client retention, and revenue growth. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with healthcare billing systems and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software platforms. Preferred 5+ years experience in healthcare technology, healthcare software, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) organizations. Familiarity with healthcare financial analytics and reporting tools. Knowledge of payer reimbursement methodologies and healthcare compliance requirements. What Success Looks Like High client satisfaction and retention rates.
