Over the past several years, we've experienced significant growth and are now entering a new phase where strong financial leadership is critical to scaling effectively. The Role We are seeking a part-time Head of Finance to take ownership of our financial strategy, reporting, and performance visibility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the leadership team, building structure, and turning financial data into actionable insights. This is a hands-on and strategic role. You will not be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, but you will oversee financial outputs, ensure accuracy, and drive clarity around company performance. This position is expected to start part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time leadership role. Key Responsibilities Own and deliver timely, accurate monthly financial reporting Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs that drive decision-making Analyze profitability, margins, and cost structure across the business Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Provide strategic financial insights to support company growth and decision-making Partner directly with leadership on financial planning and business strategy Improve and streamline financial processes and reporting systems Coordinate with bookkeeping and tax partners to ensure clean, reliable data What You Bring 5-10+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or similar roles Experience in a high-growth startup or small company environment Strong ability to translate financial data into clear business insights Proven experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling Comfortable operating in a hands-on, evolving environment Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with leadership Experience working in a fractional or part-time finance role is a plus What Success Looks Like Financial reports are accurate and delivered on time, every time The CEO has clear visibility into profitability, cash flow, and key drivers Financial insights are actively used to guide decisions and growth strategy Systems and processes become more scalable and efficient over time Compensation Part-time (10-25 hours/week to start) Flexible compensation structure based on experience and scope Opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role
