Job Description
Summary Riverbend Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to provide accounting leadership for our dynamic meat processing operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead the accounting team and directly impact our meat processing facilities. The ideal candidate will skillfully manage month-end close, meticulously reconcile and analyze financial information, and drive process improvements within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee plant daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Drive continuous improvement within the accounting team and ERP(NetSuite) ensuring timely and accurate recognition of revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation of financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Manage GL, AP, AR, Payroll & Fixed Asset accounting. Lead cost analysis initiatives, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and providing recommendations for cost optimization. Establish and maintain standard costs. Develop plans/forecasts for cash management and capital investments. Proactively analyze and resolve complex accounting questions and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner. Monitor work quality and solicit feedback for improvement. Perform Ad-hoc reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Accounting or related field with 5+ years of relevant accounting experience. CPA preferred Knowledge of meat/agricultural industry preferred with an understanding of production costs, pricing structure and market dynamics Proficiency with ERP systems, such as NetSuite (preferred), SAP, and/or Oracle Strong communications skills include negotiation, relationship management and concurrent project management experience Customer-focused team player, self-starter, adaptable, dependable, and ethical Resourceful at seeking out information to create data-driven answers, as well as ability to work independently Proficient with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel & Power BI Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented If you are ready to take your career to the next level with a dynamic team at Riverbend Management, Inc., we invite you to apply today!
