Responsible for the global AP, Payroll, AR, Recon, Admin, or GL governance structure and identifying key stakeholders. Accountable for establishing policies & procedures, and ensuring adherence to the same all times, where they pertain to regulory and organizional compliance. Runs the day-to-day operions as it reles to his/her respective process. Oversees the execution of requirements ghering & business process improvement, creing efficiencies and driving results through innovive solutions with a focus on standardizion and improved governance. Accountable for carrying out process measurement through business analytics and KPIs, knowledge transfer, as well as process adoption through change management. The global nure of the role mandes implemention of standards and efficient methods of working across MCCS Finance functions. Prioritizes leading and developing his/her team to foster a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused culture, providing leadership and sponsorship of change management with internal and external stakeholders to drive change, efficiencies and innovion. Further objectives include supporting the SSC Director by driving alignment of individual initiives to stregic objectives, cost effectiveness, minimizing risk to business / operions continuity, ensuring adoption and realizion of identified improvement opportunities in a timely manner. In addition, this individual will actively participe in decision making and stregy implemention across MCCS. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Design and valide the Future Ste AP, Payroll, AR, Recons, Admin, or GL process Direct overall operions within the respective function Set up global process governance structure and identify key stakeholders Run day-to-day process activities the SSC Ensure alignment of IT with AP, Payroll, AR, Recons, Admin, or GL stregy Support the SSC director in requirements ghering & technology enablement Aid in negotiion of the SSC¿s service level metrics Design approprie metrics and KPIs for the AP, Payroll, AR, Recons, Admin, or GL functions Design controls for the AP, Payroll, AR, Recons, Admins, or GL process Benchmark respective process costs on a regular basis to identify potential performance improvement/ cost reduction opportunities Report on performance against performance/quality standards defined in service level metrics, and KPIs Report on performance against budget to SSC Director Supervises full performance level employees directly and indirectly to include: assigning, distributing, evaluing work; coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, recommending and completing performance reviews, recommending and administering discipline, recommending and administering incentive awards, signing timecards, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment, being alert to alcohol/drug abuse to take approprie action, serving as final authority for SSC level human resources controversies, being responsive to human capital stregic plans, succession management initiives, and civilian leader development. Ensures implemention of an activity safety program for SSC employees th includes regular safety meetings; training of employees on available safety regulions, instructions, merials and equipment; reporting workplace accidents to the Human Resources Office, compliance with OSHA standards and correction of unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. Ensures employees understand safety infractions th can result in disciplinary actions and follows through with approprie action to correct situions. Ensures minimal loss of duty by complying with 'Return to Work' program initiives and following up on employee wellbeing. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. May travel to complete work assignments and conduct or tend conferences and meetings. May work a fluctuing work schedule to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours. Performs other duties as assigned. EVALUATIONS
Qualificions Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree preferred) with four years of reled and relevant work experience including finance organizion creion experience and management; OR an approprie combinion of educion and experience th demonstres possession of the knowledge and skill equivalent to th gained in the above; OR approprie experience th demonstres th the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to th gained in the above. Master of Business Administrion (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial systems / processes, controls, and ability to transle stregies into financial concepts. Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to partner, lead and influence others without having a direct reporting relionship. Demonstred proficiency setting a stregic vision for the overall team and leading the organizion in successfully achieving these goals. Demonstred leadership role managing direct level reports. Prior experience working in an environment comprising both military and civilian elements highly desired. Knowledge of DoD Instructions and Marine Corps policies, procedures, rules and regulions is a plus. Deep understanding of end-to-end AP, Payroll, AR, Recon, Admin, or GL processes and associed technology plforms. High degree of skill in analytical reasoning and the ability to apply th skill in the identificion, analysis, and conceptualizion of problems. Able to clearly communice informion to key stakeholders (including executive level) both written and orally. Demonstred success in building a new team; work effectively in a team environment and in building collaborive relionships with peers and with other stakeholders. Strong accounting background and systems oriention (such as Computron, Oracle EBS, etc.). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Demonstred Lean Six Sigma skills are a plus. Additional informion
