About the Opportunity This position works directly with the President and leadership team to improve profitability, strengthen financial systems, and support company growth. You will help transform financial information into business decisions. You won't spend your days simply processing transactions. You'll be identifying trends, solving problems, improving systems, and helping leadership make smarter decisions. This role offers significant growth potential for the right individual. What You'll DoFinancial Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs. Analyze project profitability, job costs, overhead expenses, and company performance. Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Support pricing strategy and profitability analysis. Construction Accounting Assist with WIP reporting, job costing, and project margin tracking. Monitor project budgets, change orders, and financial performance. Ensure accurate reporting of project profitability. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial controls. Business Operations Help improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency. Maintain and improve reporting tools and financial technology. Assist with vendor relationships, insurance administration, and financial compliance. Support leadership with data-driven recommendations and decision-making. What Success Looks Like Within your first year: Leadership has better visibility into company performance. Financial reporting becomes more accurate and actionable. Project profitability is easier to understand and manage. Key business metrics are tracked consistently. Opportunities for increased profitability are identified and implemented. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data. Strong Quickbooks Online skills Experience with financial reporting and analysis. Construction accounting experience is preferred but not required. Experience with job costing, project accounting, or WIP reporting is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills.
