Job Description

The Product Manager, Merchandise Financial Planning is responsible for the development, execution and communication of financial objectives and budget plans that support a channel of accessories across all channels at the client. The successful candidate will help to shape and optimize the channel portfolio offering, procurement and distribution through a sales and operations planning process. This includes detailed financial analysis and reporting focused on maximizing profitability. The candidate must be able to use their influence to report conclusions and provide recommendations to a broad cross-functional team. Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc): Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel. What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) : Reviewing financial performance for previous week, coordinating inventory shortages and financial impacts with Supply Chain, recapping merchandising and product performance for the category and channel, completing financial business cases for offers and product launches. Preferred background/prior work experience? : Preferably experience with a merchandising org (buying, planning), as well as a digital business. Priority soft skills : Good cross-functional collaboration, strong sense of ownership/able to hit the ground running with minimal training.
