Job Description:
Technical Accounting Manager or Senior Manager (42666) Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that's looking for a Manager or Senior Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, analytical, and has excellent leadership skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, fun company perks/events, and flexibility. This position is onsite. The salary for this position is $110K - $140K. The Manager or Senior Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Research, interpret, and apply
U.S. GAAP
to complex and non-routine transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, debt offerings, etc. Prepare and maintain technical accounting memoranda, position papers, and policy documentation. Provide accounting guidance and recommendations on revenue recognition, leasing, stock-based compensation, and other complex transactions. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate accounting implications of transactions, contracts, and strategic initiatives. Support external financial reporting activities, including the preparation and review of financial statement disclosures and accounting policies. Enhance and maintain accounting policies, processes, internal controls, and documentation while coordinating with auditors and supporting regulatory inquiries. The Manager or Senior Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, macros). Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (such as Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Corporate Development). Highly analytical and detail oriented. Results driven with a strong business acumen.
