Job Description
About Our Role:
The Director of Revenue Management is accountable for developing and executing pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies that maximize ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR across assigned properties. The role leads revenue optimization through data analysis, demand forecasting, and system-driven pricing while ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and Operations. This position also oversees revenue system configuration and performance across platforms such as SynXis CRS, Duetto, and OPERA PMS, and reports to the General Manager with dotted line to the Vice President of Revenue Management.Essential Functions:
Own and execute the hotel's revenue strategy across all segments and channelsManage rate loading, availability, restrictions, and inventory controls across all systems Ensure compliance with Marriott distribution standards and brand requirements where applicable Develop pricing, inventory, and restriction strategies to maximize ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR Monitor booking pace, demand trends, and competitive positioning to adjust strategy in real time Lead forecasting and demand management Produce rolling forecasts and support annual budgeting and long-range planning processes Analyze booking patterns, lead time, and market demand to anticipate opportunities and risks Evaluate production, profitability, and contribution across direct, OTA, GDS, wholesale, and brand channels Partner with Sales on group pricing, displacement analysis, and inventory allocation Monitor competitive pricing, market demand, and performance benchmarks Drive market intelligence and performance insights Analyze production, cost of sale, conversion, and contribution by channe Evaluate, onboard, and optimize new distribution partners and connectivity opportunities Ensure accurate configuration of rate codes, packages, restrictions, and inventory controls across all platforms Partner cross-functionally to drive topline performance Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, packages, and need-period campaigns Support Operations and Finance with inventory planning, reporting, and revenue performance analysis Qualifications Experience in hotel revenue management within a hotel or hospitality environment (must have) Experience working with major revenue and reservation platforms including Duetto, SynXis CRS, andOPERA PMS
