Job DescriptionJob Description Woodland Moving & Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations, maintain revenue accuracy, and ensure the integrity of accounting processes across the organization. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and maintaining organized financial records in a fast-paced operational environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and capable of managing multiple financial responsibilities while maintaining strict attention to detail and deadlines. The Impact You'll Make As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting revenue integrity, and ensuring accounting operations run efficiently. Your work will directly impact invoicing accuracy, accounts receivable performance, audit readiness, and the company's overall financial organization. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Revenue Accuracy Manage daily invoicing processes across multiple service and contract types using QuickBooks Review and verify billable services to ensure complete and accurate revenue recognition Perform routine revenue audits and identify discrepancies proactively Apply payments accurately and maintain organized financial records Prepare financial documentation and invoice packages with a high level of accuracy Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances professionally and consistently Reconcile accounts, transactions, deposits, and payment activity Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues in a timely manner Support month-end closing activities and maintain accurate financial reporting Reporting, Documentation & Compliance Maintain organized, audit-ready accounting files and supporting documentation Assist with internal and external audit preparation and reporting requests Ensure accounting systems and records remain accurate, updated, and compliant Support financial reporting deadlines with accuracy and consistency Communication & Administrative Support Communicate professionally with internal departments, customers, and business partners Respond promptly to billing and financial inquiries Coordinate with operational teams to ensure accurate service documentation and invoicing Support process improvements that strengthen efficiency and financial accuracy Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations experience preferred Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in transportation, logistics, moving, or service-related industries is a plus Familiarity with Syncada, DPS, or EasyDPS systems is a bonus Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement Professional development opportunities Stable, growth-oriented work environment Opportunities for advancement and internal promotion Join Our Team We are looking for a professional who values financial accuracy, operational organization, and accountability.
