- 5:00 PM Industry accounting & auditing (Business and Financial Operations Occupations) Reference number S_175884 Job details We are seeking an Investor Reporting Specialist to join a dedicated, collaborative team in Ocala, FL.
Salary:
$22.00 per hour.Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM
- 5:00 PM .
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit timely monthly investor reports for agency and private investors (including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae) in strict compliance with servicing agreements.
- Process cash and non-cash transactions within the servicing system, ensuring data integrity across all records.
- Perform robust custodial account reconciliations, monitor daily cash and wire activity, and aggressively resolve variances between system data and investor statements.
- Conduct detailed analyses of loan-level exceptions and data variances to research and clear accounting discrepancies.
- Reconcile borrower credit reporting files with major bureaus, manage disputes via E-Oscar, and assist with documentation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain updated process documentation, support system testing, and collaborate cross-departmentally on special projects.

8:30 AM- 5:00
PM Skills:
- A proven focus on bank and custodial account reconciliations is highly preferred.
- A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with servicing systems like FICS' Mortgage Servicer or MSP is a major plus.
Education:
Bachelors Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
To excel in this role, you should bring a background foundation in financial operations, with a heavy emphasis on complex account reconciliations.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing, investor reporting, accounting, or financial operations.
- High school diploma and equivalent professional experience considered.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, featuring advanced Excel skills (lookups, formulas, and pivot tables).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills to troubleshoot discrepancies and interpret strict regulatory requirements (such as Regulation AB and USAP).
- Outstanding time management to meet rigid deadlines, absolute data integrity, and professional written/verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a workstation and view a computer screen.
- Clear speaking voice for phone and in-person communication.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
