This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and financial concepts, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and supporting our organization's financial health. You will be instrumental in maintaining precise bookkeeping practices, preparing detailed financial reports, and assisting with budgeting processes. Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial data. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify the correctness of financial statements. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools to record transactions accurately. Conduct payroll processing and handle tax-related tasks in compliance with governmental regulations. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including budget analysis and financial report writing to support organizational decision-making. Maintain detailed records of debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation for transparency and audit readiness. Experience Proven experience working with corporate accounting or non-profit accounting environments. Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles. Hands-on experience with various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar systems. Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and tax experience is highly desirable. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels. Experience in budgeting, financial concepts understanding, and general ledger accounting is essential for success in this role.
