This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.Position Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand system transactions Assist in resolving discrepancies by coordinating with employees, suppliers and other organization s Perform basic supplier account reconciliations, work closely supply chain management and other members of the organization and answering there question s Apply Cash Receipt s Disbursement transactions with suppliers in accounts payabl e Use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and controls that will prevent or reduce risk of potential misstatement s Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), internal controls, and company and departmental procedure s Reconcile assigned general ledger account s Assist with internal and external audit request s Weekly review of the critical pay suppliers insuring payments are made timel y Manage assigned projects to deadlines. Supporting any payment related project s Work under deadlines and assist with resolving accounting challenge s Collaborate and grow in a team environmen t Learn and apply knowledge and training in SA P Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Understanding of GAAP and accounting principle s Ability to work well independently and in a team environmen t 2 to 5 years of experienc e Strong Excel skills, organizing and analyzing large volumes of dat a Strong communication skills both verbal and writte n Very organized, able to follow through and track task s Must be a US Citize n HS Diploma or GE D Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; or 5 years or more related business area of experienc e Previous accounts payable experienceSAP or other ERP syste mUnion:
