Back Financial Analysis Specialist•Supplier Tooling#2016209 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description What You'll DoThis position is responsible for new model capital projects writing, maintaining project vehicle launch dates, managing the tooling refurbishment expense budget, vendor tooling audit closure, and month-end close related activities.
This Individual Will:
Write and manage all capital New Model, Carryover, and Capacity vehicle supplier tooling projects for North AmericaThis position will be the central contact point for writing projects, transferring funds between projects, and closing out projectsConfirm and provide vehicle launch dates to be used for capitalization and amortization schedulesSupport the external tooling auditor and partner with cross-functional teams to close auditsManage and forecast the tooling refurbishment expense budget for Purchasing FinanceComplete month-end related activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, actuals variance explanations, etc.

Responsible for complying with SOX, internal controls, and external auditor requestsWhat You'll LearnHow to analyze the differences between supplier capital, expense, and capital expense and how to determine where the items should be bookedHow to use SAP for reporting and analytical purposesForecasting, journal entries, and account reconciliationsVendor Tooling Audit processWhat This Role Will Prepare You ForUnderstanding the numerous financial roles: starting with program approval of start up production launch date, and ending with program project closeDeveloping an understanding of the various operating groups, Engineering, Manufacturing and how they link to the Supplier Tooling groupManaging the monthly close, forecasting, and financial reporting process Location(s) 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326, United States Requirements Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similarMinimum 5 years of Accounting or Finance experienceMonth-end closing and forecasting experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood working knowledge of accounting principles, methods and techniquesSOX compliance experienceAbility to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlinesHighly motivated self-starter and change agentExcellent analytic, communication and teamwork skillsHigh proficiency in all Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred QualificationsMBAWorking knowledge of SAPCapital Project writing experienceKnowledge of how all phases of Procurement, Finance, and Accounting interrelate i.e., Platform Finance, Technical Accounting, Finance relate functionally to Supplier Tooling Employment Type Full-time Stellantis At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
