Job Description

About Us Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of surviving family members and co-workers affected by a line-of- duty death. We support a nationwide network of chapters that provide resources, connection, and ongoing support. Job Summary This position serves as the primary point of contact for 53 chapters across the country. This role ensures chapters operate effectively, remain compliant with organizational standards, and receive the guidance and support needed to succeed. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, can identify trends, analyze data and passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for assigned chapters Monitor and track chapter compliance with bylaws, policies, and reporting requirements Review and follow up on required reports, understand financial documents, and meeting records Provide guidance and support to chapter leaders on operational questions Assist with planning and coordination of trainings, meetings, and events Participate in and help coordinate virtual meetings Conduct routine reviews/audits of financial records to ensure proper processes are followed Collaborate with regional leadership and internal teams Maintain accurate records and prepare internal reports Communicate deadlines, updates, and resources to chapter leadership Support consistency in chapter communications and online presence Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Experience working with nonprofits, or volunteer organizations Familiarity with compliance, governance, or financial review processes Experience with virtual training or online learning platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office , Google Workspace, Quickbooks Skills Attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving and critical thinking Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Conflict resolution and professionalism Work Environment & Requirements This is an in-person position located in Camdenton, Missouri Must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate Out of town travel required for events and trainings Schedule Full-time 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday Occasional out of town travel on weekends.
