Accounting Specialists & Financial Analysts Needed for Industry-Leading Business Brock Air Products, Inc.(BAP) is a privately-owned business headquartered in Troy, Ohio with multiple divisions in HVAC, eCommerce, manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales. We are a fast-growing, industry-leading business with a fast growth trajectory. We are searching for several accounting specialists to round out our finance and accounting team and help the organization grow by focusing on key areas surrounding inventory, forecasting, cost budgeting, and cashflow. Each Accounting Specialist will play an important role in the continuing success of the BAP businesses. Each hire will have an area of responsibility in which they will apply their financial and accounting analysis skills to help us improve our processes, decision-making, and reporting. The results of these efforts will help us create a solid financial foundation for continued success and bottom line growth. The financial analysts may work on one or several of our businesses, therefore experience with multiple organizational structures is a plus, as well as comfortability with learning new processes and software, especially ERP systems. The accounting specialists will have the opportunity to help across all divisions, including eCommerce, commercial sales, manufacturing, brick and mortar retail, and wholesale business units. They will help shape and define our financial structure for continued organizational growth. Candidates must have strong skills in data analysis, accounting process, and financial/accounting software. Individuals with experience in any of the following areas are highly encouraged to apply: Inventory control, costing, forecasting, location balancing, and turn rates Cost budgeting: Implementation, management, reporting and analysis
Forecasting:
Macro & micro views, seasonal and future-focused Cashflow forecasting, line of credit management, and reporting The ideal candidate will be growth-focused; a collaborator and a problem solver with an enthusiasm for continued improvement and meeting organizational goals. Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Reporting, analysis, solution implementation, and process improvement for a given focus area within our accounting and financial team Developing and implementing financial policies, development, and controls Investigating areas of highlight or concern and creating solutions and proactive safeguards Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements Handling preparation for tax returns Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits Assisting with corporate financial decisions Maintaining and improving the corporate-wide budgeting process Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics/Stats, Mathematics or a related field preferred. 2+ years in accounting and financial roles Competence with financial software and technology Understanding of financial and accounting standards and regulations System Proficiency:
Operate within the company's ERP system to manage financial data. Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks Maintain and update financial records in both QuickBooks and ERP. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.). Familiarity with Acumatica ERP, a plus Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional Requirements:
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with project management is a plus. Ability to work full-time in-office at our headquarters in Troy, Ohio (just north of Dayton, Ohio) Benefits:
