Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Specialist to join a fast-paced and collaborative Finance team within a well-established professional services organization. This individual will play a critical role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring continuity across multiple accounting functions. This is a fully onsite position that requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively across teams.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key backup across multiple finance functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable/Escrow Provide coverage during team member absences, including vacations and remote workdays Participate in a rotating schedule to support various financial responsibilities and ensure departmental continuity Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including colleagues and senior professionals, to meet departmental goals Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by Finance leadership Perform general administrative and financial support duties as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including exposure to AP, AR, and billing Strong data entry skills with high accuracy (10-key proficiency required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Ability to quickly learn new systems and software Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM This role is 100% onsite with no remote flexibility
