We are seeking a candidate with the ability to lead the Payments Department and ensure compliance with internal policies and delivery of exceptional member service. Responsible for directing and administering the efforts of the Payments Department. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Trains, directs, and supervises Payments staff. Assists Payments personal as necessary. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as required. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. This position has the potential for remote work based on management discretion.Work From Home:
This position works in-office in Corinth, Texas for the first 90 days of employment. After 90 days, there is the potential to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. You will still work in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Required Knowledge:
Understanding of payment processes including but not limited to ACH, Bill Pay, Wire Transfers, Drafts, and ITM operations Thorough knowledge of Credit Union services and products. Understanding related legal and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with accounting functions, policies, and procedures. Understanding of the Federal Reserve Banking System.Experience Required:
At least five years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of two years of supervisory or equivalent experience. Abilities generally acquired on the job. Includes formal and on-the-job training.Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others. Professional appearance, dress, and attitude. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow. Strong communication and telephone skills. Well organized and detail oriented. Efficient. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze complex financial reports, identify discrepancies, and make recommendations for improvements. Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
