CLIENT ACCOUNTS COORDINATOR

About Us:
Carolina Fiduciary Services, LLC provides fiduciary services for Veterans through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and conservatorship services for adults under court appointment. We manage the financial affairs of vulnerable populations who are unable to manage their own finances due to incapacity or disability. Our work requires compassion, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Client Accounts Coordinator to manage financial accounts for our clients. This role involves paying bills, maintaining budget spreadsheets, processing accountings in our Representative Payee Management (RPM) system, and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with numbers, has accounting experience or education, and is passionate about serving vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
Process and pay client bills accurately and on time Maintain and update client budget spreadsheets Enter and manage accountings in the RPM system Reconcile client accounts Coordinate with the CEO/Federal Fiduciary on financial matters Maintain confidential client financial records Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience required Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics preferred (equivalent experience considered) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational and time management skills Compassion for serving Veterans and vulnerable adults
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time:
16-20 hours per week
Schedule:
Flexible, to be determined based on candidate
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience
Location:
On-site at our North Charleston office
Requirements:
Must pass a background check and credit check (required due to financial responsibilities) Reliable transportation
