High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year of full-time experience in child-development, child-care programs, customer service or social work. One full year of clerical experience including data entry and maintenance of records. Experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all stakeholders. Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX. Position subject to successful completion of background checks.

Repetitive use of hands for reaching, handling, and turning. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; includes light lifting of supplies and materials. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend, and stoop as needed.
Job Summary:
The Financial Management Specialist is responsible for supporting key fiscal processes through accurate and timely preparation, tracking, and maintenance of financial documentation. This role involves processing provider and self-arranged child care (SACC) claims, maintaining billing files and accounting records, and inputting data into the CCS automated system. The specialist generates and distributes claims, forms, manages outgoing correspondence, and responds to financial-related inquiries. Additionally, the role includes monitoring child absences, participating in training sessions, and performing various clerical and routine financial tasks to ensure the efficiency and compliance of the organizations financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain paperwork required by financial management through accurate and timely preparation, copying, filing, and tracking. Generate and distribute claims/reporting forms to providers. Process providers claims and self-arranged child care (SACC) claims. Maintain accounting records for provider payments. Input assigned data entry into the CCS automated system. Prepare outgoing mail from financial management. Track and evaluate absences of children. Attend and conduct training sessions as needed. Responsible for performing assigned functions connected with fiscal management processes, including billing, clerical, and routine financial duties. Participate in training and development programs to enhance service delivery. Other related duties as assigned.
