Domain Sales Type of contract Regular position Experience Minimum 3 years Context & Environment TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America , based in Houston, conducts Total's commodity (NG, NGL, Power, and LNG) trading and marketing activities in the USA. Within the Trading Division, the Gas Operations team is seeking a motivated Operations Representative to join its dynamic environment. Activities The Operations Representative will play a key role in supporting the management, optimization, and cost control of the organization's expanding portfolio of natural gas and natural gas liquids. Working within an experienced team, the representative will handle a variety of operational responsibilities, including: Collaborate with the Front Office to manage, optimize, and control costs across assigned systems and portfolio assets; Nominate and monitor operational activities on regional facilities, proactively addressing issues and developing alternative solutions with the Front Office teams; Communicate independently with internal teams and external counterparties regarding daily portfolio activities and forward-looking operational assumptions; Analyze and validate operational reports across pipelines, gathering systems, and processing assets to ensure accurate data distribution; Accurately record physical transactions in the proprietary risk management system; Support internal teams with deal flow, physical settlement processes, and reconciliation activities; Assist business development efforts by interpreting and implementing contractual agreements: Partner with Trading Systems and IT teams to enhance proprietary software tools; Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal controls and operational processes. Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience; Open to candidates with 0-3 years of experience; no prior scheduling experience required. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail; Effective written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions; High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills; Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision; Ability to read and interpret contracts, ensuring compliance and financial integrity; Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; Driven self-starter with strong ownership, excellent time management, and the ability to excel independently ; Dependable, team-oriented professional with the flexibility and commitment to support rotational coverage (nights, weekends, and holidays).
