Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Quantitative Analyst - AVP to help monitor and manage alternative investment strategies and associated risk information. The role involves analyzing data, generating and reviewing reports, and quantitative strategy research and due diligence. This position requires some knowledge of investment, financial, economic and industry topics. We are looking for self-motivated candidates with strong quantitative academic backgrounds and professional drive.
What you'll do:
Conduct quantitative research and translate analytical models into production systemsLead the design and development of the analytics systemBuild and operate scalable risk data, analytics, and reporting infrastructureInvestigate and analyze data errors, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrencePartner with Investment, Product, Engineering, and LeadershipCommunicate results internally and externallyQualificationsStrong Programming background in Python and SQLExperience in finance and knowledge of investmentsDemonstrated ability to identify, analyze and recommend potential solutions to problemsTakes initiative and is highly motivatedWorks effectively and productively in a teamAble to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skillsGraduate degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or other quantitatively focused program, PhD preferredStrong academic track record5-8 years relevant experience requiredAdditional InformationThis position will work on a hybrid model out of our Santa Monica officeWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including a collaborative work environment, generous
The pay range for this position is $125,000-$135,000. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
