To Apply for this Job Click Here Valuation Associate Boston, MA - 5 days onsite About the Opportunity A leading growth equity firm is seeking a Valuation Associate to join its Valuation & Strategic Analysis team in Boston. This role offers broad exposure across the private equity lifecycle, working closely with investment professionals and internal stakeholders on valuation, portfolio analytics, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support quarterly valuation processes for a portfolio of private companies in accordance with ASC 820 Perform valuation analysis using established methodologies across a range of industries Prepare materials for financial reporting and fundraising initiatives Conduct industry and market research to inform analyses Partner with deal teams to collect and analyze portfolio company financials Respond to investor and due diligence requests Assist with portfolio monitoring, fund performance analysis, and benchmarking Create ad hoc analyses and reporting for internal stakeholders Present findings clearly and concisely Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 1+ years of relevant experience, ideally in valuation or a related analytical role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Advanced Excel proficiency Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment CFA, MBA, or progress toward designation is a plus Exposure to OPM / contingent claims analysis is a plus Compensation Base salary range: $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience In addition to base compensation, the role includes a competitive bonus, profit sharing, and best-in-class health benefits Additional Information This is a full-time, in-office role based in Boston Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
