Full-Time About the Firm (Confidential) A privately held, multi-generational family investment office is seeking a Private Equity Senior Associate to join its Power & Infrastructure investment team. The firm invests long-duration, permanent capital across sustainable power generation, essential service infrastructure, and energy transition assets. This Private Equity Senior Associate will work closely with senior leadership to support investments that drive long-term, durable value creation. Position Overview The Private Equity Senior Associate will be a core member of a lean, entrepreneurial team responsible for evaluating, executing, and managing investments across power, utilities, and infrastructure. This Private Equity Senior Associate role offers significant responsibility, including direct exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across the entire investment lifecycle. The Private Equity Senior Associate will be expected to take increased ownership in both transaction execution and portfolio management relative to a more junior profile. Key Responsibilities Investment Sourcing & Origination Support the Private Equity Senior Associate sourcing pipeline by building relationships with developers, operators, advisors, and capital markets participants Conduct initial screening and evaluation of opportunities across power generation, renewables, and infrastructure Assist in proactive market mapping and thematic sourcing initiatives Transaction Execution Build and maintain detailed financial models, including project-level and portfolio-level analyses Lead key workstreams in diligence processes across technical, commercial, regulatory, and financial areas Coordinate with third-party advisors and internal stakeholders to advance transactions efficiently Prepare investment committee materials and present findings alongside senior leadership Portfolio Management Partner with portfolio company management teams to monitor operational and financial performance Track KPIs and drive ongoing performance analysis and reporting Support and help lead value creation initiatives, including add-on acquisitions, refinancing, and growth strategy execution Market Research & Strategy Conduct deep research on power markets, infrastructure subsectors, and regulatory dynamics Support the development of actionable investment theses aligned with long-term capital deployment strategy Provide ongoing insights into energy transition trends and emerging opportunities Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field 4-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or infrastructure investing Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced setting Preferred Prior experience as a Private Equity Senior Associate or equivalent level within private equity, infrastructure, or energy investing Exposure to power, energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors Demonstrated interest in energy transition and long-duration investment strategies Experience operating in lean, high-accountability environments
