$60•$90 per hour Job Details•We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SEC Reporting Manager. This challenging and rewarding role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial growth and stability. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensure compliance with SEC regulations, manage lease accounting, and uphold SOX compliance. This role requires a high level of financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and other related financial statements. 2. Ensure all financial reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP regulations and guidelines. 3. Manage lease accounting, including the calculation of lease liabilities and right-of-use assets. 4. Maintain SOX compliance and manage internal controls over financial reporting. 5. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting. 6. Monitor and interpret new SEC, FASB, and PCAOB rules and regulations to ensure company compliance. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, treasury, and investor relations, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 8. Support the CFO and other senior executives with special projects and analyses. 9. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the financial reporting team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting or public accounting. 3. Proficient knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, SOX, and lease accounting. 4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to a variety of audiences. 6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 8. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and financial reporting software.
