Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will provide leadership and technical expertise in financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance and supporting governance activities. Based in Irvine, California, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impactful contribution while collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities:

Oversee external financial reporting processes, including audit coordination and related governance activities. Manage financial regulatory reporting and respond to examination inquiries. Act as an advisor to bridge technical and regulatory matters between Accounting and Business Finance teams. Contribute to the design and implementation of internal control and reporting enablement initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and operational efficiency. Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal teams to enhance reporting capabilities. Support compliance with regulatory standards and requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Deliver results independently while maintaining high standards and accountability. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Strong expertise in SEC reporting, annual financial reporting, and financial regulatory environments. Proficiency in systems such as Workiva and SAP for reporting and accounting purposes. Familiarity with regulatory bodies like FINRA and other financial compliance organizations. Ability to operate autonomously and deliver high-quality results with minimal ramp-up time. Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
