CTG is seeking to fill a Financial Reporting, Disclosure & SOX Compliance Subject Matter Expert (Senior Consultant / Senior Manager Level) position for our client.

6 Weeks Job Summary Senior-level SME role supporting financial reporting cycles, SEC disclosures, and
SOX/ICFR
compliance. The consultant will provide high-impact guidance during close cycles, assess internal controls, and advise finance leadership on reporting and compliance issues. Big 4 background strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SME support for financial reporting, disclosures, and SEC reporting requirements Advise on SOX compliance (SOX 404) and ICFR control design/effectiveness Support quarter-end and year-end close processes, including disclosure reviews Evaluate internal controls and recommend remediation improvements Partner with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams Assist in resolving complex accounting, reporting, and control issues Support audit coordination and external auditor interactions
Core Skills:
Strong expertise in financial reporting and SEC disclosures Deep
SOX/ICFR
compliance and internal controls experience Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation Ability to analyze complex accounting and control issues Strong stakeholder management and executive communication Big 4 consulting or audit experience strongly preferred
Experience:
Senior Consultant / Experienced Manager / Senior Manager level Proven experience supporting financial close and reporting cycles Hands-on SOX compliance and ICFR experience in complex environments Background in audit or advisory (Big 4 preferred) Experience coordinating with external auditors
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. CPA designation strongly preferred. Advanced certifications (e.g., CIA, CMA) are a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
