This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with all SEC reporting requirements while maintaining the accuracy and transparency of financial statements. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to support critical reporting functions and contribute to special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial reporting documents, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, and ensure timely filings with the SEC. Collaborate with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to develop earnings releases, investor materials, and responses to analyst inquiries. Monitor changes in business operations and industry trends to accurately reflect their impact on SEC filings and related deliverables. Maintain and enhance internal control procedures to comply with SEC standards. Assist in the preparation of annual 401k financial statements (Form 11-K). Provide coordination and support for external audits and quarterly reviews, ensuring alignment between financial reporting and auditor requirements. Establish and nurture relationships with Accounting, Finance, IT, Legal, and HR teams to offer expert guidance on special projects. Contribute to ad hoc initiatives and projects as needed, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Proven expertise in SEC reporting and compliance processes. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 11-K. CPA designation or equivalent qualification is highly preferred. Proficiency in tools such as Splunk and other financial reporting software. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and ensure accurate reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments and external auditors. Ability to stay updated on industry developments and apply them effectively to reporting tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
