Yes Job Summary:
Responsible for providing strategic and operational financial leadership for advancing the overall financial performance of Geisinger Health and its subsidiaries. This role will be responsible for management and implementation of information technology tools used to support the financial analytics and reporting of the organization.
Job Duties:
Executes roadmap to design, implement, train, and support all financial business intelligence and analytic tools required to achieve all financial and operational objectives. Leads the development of service and product line profitability reporting. Leads financial performance management reporting activities and identifies opportunities for performance improvement. Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and process improvements within the Geisinger Transformation program Actively participates as a member of the TMO leadership team providing advisement and direction. Serves as the primary liaison and expert resource for the enterprise physician and non-physician productivity benchmarking tools. Leads the definition and organization of physician RVU and hospital data against established benchmarks and targets and recommends changes to designated system leaders as appropriate. Develops metric and benchmark scorecards, trend and variance reports, and dashboards that meet Finance Partner and Operations Administrator needs. Implements, develops, and maintains use of enterprise management and productivity reporting software, templates and tools. Oversees the preparation of external benchmarking submissions, quarterly reports, and distribution to system leaders. Provides expertise to multidisciplinary teams for interpreting results to achieve performance improvement and high reliability outcomes. Collaborates with Finance Partners to educate operations management on financial and productivity metrics and benchmarks. Conducts statistical measurement studies to monitor and improve business processes through data collection or observations. Collaborates with Physician Compensation for physician benchmarking changes and updates, with Financial Planning team to ensure that benchmark and metric target goals are incorporated into forecasting processes, and coordinates with the Finance Partnering teams and the Financial Reporting teams to ensure that the needs of Finance and the broader user community are being met. Participates in special projects, committees, and initiatives as assigned to support finance and/or operational initiatives. Assists with prioritizing and delegating workload, providing performance reviews and goal setting for direct reports. Promotes training, and development of team and colleagues.
