We are seeking a Senior Universal Banker III to join our team in the heart of San Francisco, CA. This is a "high-touch" role designed for an expert who can seamlessly pivot between serving as a trusted financial advisor for complex consumer/business needs and providing the operational leadership necessary to maintain a top-performing branch. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Relationship Management Advisory Services:
Provide expert financial guidance, recommending tailored solutions across checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and lending products.Business Growth:
Proactively deepen relationships within the San Francisco business community, supporting clients with Treasury Services, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), and specialized commercial banking needs.Community Presence:
Serve as a brand ambassador at local networking events and community forums to drive new business acquisition and community impact.Operational Excellence & Compliance Risk Management:
Act as the subject matter expert on BSA, AML, KYC, and Information Security protocols.High-Level Oversight:
Monitor and approve large-scale or complex transactions, maintaining rigorous fraud-prevention controls and audit readiness.Account Lifecycle:
Manage the full lifecycle of complex consumer and business accounts with 100% documentation accuracy.Leadership & Mentorship Team Support:
Act as a mentor to junior bankers and tellers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on professional growth and service standards.Strategic Partner:
Work directly with the Branch Manager to execute sales initiatives and meet regional performance goals.Conflict Resolution:
Serve as the first point of escalation for complex client inquiries, ensuring a "client-first" resolution every time.Qualifications & Experience Experience:
3+ years of retail banking experience is required (must include both teller operations and new account/platform experience).Expertise:
Strong background in Business Banking and Treasury products is highly preferred.Compliance:
Deep knowledge of federal banking regulations and risk mitigation.Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to a diverse and sophisticated client base.Systems:
Proficient in core banking software and the MS Office Suite.Notary:
