  • Part Time MSR position. The working hours for this position at the credit union are Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, with every Saturday being 8:45am-12:15pm a requirement. Saturday pay is time and a half. Approximate hours will be 25+ hours per week. Extra hours occasionally available. Full Time possible in the future
  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members
  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution
  • Process member transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services
  • Educate members on financial products and services
  • Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and products
  • Handle cash management duties, including balancing cash drawer and reconciling transactions
  • Utilize math skills to accurately process financial transactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals
Skills:
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction
  • Proficient in basic math calculations and retail math concepts
  • Knowledge of financial services and products offered by the credit union
  • Ability to handle cash management responsibilities accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship management
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in financial sales or cross-selling is a plus

Summary As a Member Service Representative, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service and fostering strong relationships with clients. Reporting to the branch manager, your role involves handling financial transactions, managing cash, and providing essential banking services. Your core skills in basic math and financial services will support accurate cash handling, while your premium skills in financial sales and relationship management will enhance customer satisfaction and drive cross-sales. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship management Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate cash handling Experience in financial services, including cash management and debits & credits Ability to engage in financial sales and cross-selling opportunities Familiarity with financial software and tools for efficient service delivery Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection practices is a plus
