Full-time, Non-Exempt Reports To:
Branch Manager We are seeking a Member Service Representative to join our branch team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. You will open and maintain a variety of accounts, process transactions, and assist with daily branch operations. This position requires accuracy, professionalism, and strong commitment to confidentiality. You'll also provide backup support on the teller line and at the lobby desk, ensuring seamless branch operations and a positive member experience. What You'll Do
  • Open and maintain personal, business, trust, IRA, and HSA accounts
  • Assist member with account changes, closures, and lockbox services
  • Support deceased member account processes in compliance with policy
  • Complete account verifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with debit card issuance, maintenance, and daily operations
  • Process check orders, wire transfers, and other member service requests
  • Maintain lockbox operations, including setup and management
  • Provide backup support for teller transactions and receptionist duties
  • Perform teller opener and closer responsibilities on a rotating schedule
  • Deliver outstanding member service by identifying needs and offering solutions
  • Educate members on products, services, and digital banking tools
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Protect confidential member information and uphold security standards Qualification requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Professional member service and phone etiquette.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn credit union software systems.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding member service.
  • Previous experience in credit union, banking, or financial services preferred.
