Member Service Representative

Leatherstocking Region Federal Credit Union is growing! We currently have an opening for a full-time Member Service Representative at our office in Cooperstown, NY.

REPORTS TO

Manager of Member Services

SUPERVISES

N/A

BASIC FUNCTION

Assist members with daily transactions

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1). Process daily money transactions including deposits, withdrawals, IRAs, certificates, etc. 2). Make changes to accounts. 3). Order/reorder debit/credit cards. 4). Log and process mail 5). Process ATM transactions for Glen and Atwell. 6). Process night drop deposits. 7). Open non-checking sub accounts. 8). Close accounts as needed. 9). Answer telephones. 10). Other duties as assigned.

COORDINATES

1). Special needs of the members. 2). Special projects from other departments.

ASSISTS WITH

1). Coverage of other areas based on staffing needs. 2). Answers basic loan questions regarding rates and terms

MINIMUM EXPERIANCE AND EDUCATION

1). Computer experience. 2). Ability to work with extreme accuracy. 3). Excellent organizational and customer service skills. This is a Monday-Friday position during normal business hours with occasional Saturdays required on a rotating basis. Prior banking or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.

Pay range:

Starting pay is between $18.00-$20.00 per hour DOE. Full benefits package available. Generous 401K match and 401k profit share after one year of employment.
