Job Description

The Loss Mitigation Specialists acts as the primary point of contact for homeowners experiencing significant financial hardship. This role is responsible for reducing potential losses by negotiating workout solutions for 60+ day delinquent mortgage accounts. You will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound activity, evaluating borrower financials to determine eligibility for relief options while ensuring strict adherence to investor and regulatory guidelines. $29.65 - $39.22 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

BachelorsResponsibilities Serve as the lead point of contact for borrowers, providing expert guidance on loss mitigation options and foreclosure alternatives. Evaluate borrower financial statements and delinquency patterns to determine eligibility for options based on GSE (Fannie/Freddie), VA, or specific investor types. Cultivate customer understanding of mortgage terms and negotiate payment arrangements or workout solutions to resolve legal matters promptly. Resolve complex or escalated issues by conferring with leadership, internal departments, or legal counsel as necessary. Execute a high volume of manual and automated calls using a dialer system, maintaining a blend of inbound and outbound outreach. Proactively manage the mitigation pipeline, including mandatory forbearance follow-ups (e.g., every 7 days) and skip-tracing tasks. Manage high-volume After Call Work (ACW) with no dedicated administrative downtime; all system updates, emails, and tasks must be completed during or immediately following the call.
