Use assistive software, reporting tools, and illustrations to teach clients about financial planning options. 3. Own —Take ownership of development and management of the business as you master your craft and build a team. Review and maintain client financial plans, continuing to provide optimum advice for your clients' needs We believe there's more than one way to start, build, and grow your practice. To become a financial advisor, you must obtain the following licenses: Life/Accident & Health Certifications, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Series 6, 7, and 63.
