You are professional in appearance and demeanor. As a Relationship Manager, you will regularly interact with business owners, banking professionals, referral partners, and prospective customers. Because you serve as a representative of both FiNet and our financial institution partners, you understand the importance of maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. You consistently conduct yourself in a manner that inspires confidence, reflects credibility, and reinforces the professionalism for which FiNet is known. You are a natural communicator . A successful Relationship Manager will be energetic, outgoing, and professional, with strong communication skills across various mediums. Understanding your audience and communicating information effectively is crucial for a positive stakeholder experience. Active listening is also a vital part of communication, as our customers and partners expect us to be responsive to their needs and requirements. Many customers and partners prefer email. Therefore, you must have excellent writing skills and produce correspondence that meets professional standards. You can manage your time efficiently. You will have multiple active prospects in the system simultaneously and must effectively track and manage them. You should be organized and able to multitask, prioritize, and coordinate your time. You are not afraid to tackle anything tech-related. Most modern payment products have a strong technical component. Therefore, having an intuitive feel for contemporary consumer electronics and web services is crucial. Resources are available in-house or through our channel partners, but you should be comfortable answering technical-related questions and participating in product demonstrations. You must have a strong grasp of Windows or MacOS for daily use and standard corporate productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Slack. Cloud-based web applications, such as presentation tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom will also be used frequently. You have the proper outlook. You are a problem solver and detail-oriented, and you continuously strive to achieve the desired results. You set the bar high for quality, both in your work and your approach to it. Although our sales process may seem more laid-back than other companies, we still value the basic principles of integrity, professionalism, productivity, teamwork, accountability, and putting in a full day's worth of hard work. You are willing to learn. Understanding the terminology, pricing, technology, and other essential aspects of the payments industry may take some time. Previous experience in merchant services is beneficial, but we will provide the necessary training to help you navigate the industry's complexities. Because of our referral relationships, our workflow may differ from that of other sales outlets. So, while having prior sales experience is a plus, a Relationship Manager needs to maintain a positive attitude and be open to new ideas and methods. As this role is focused on building relationships, collaborating with others, both internally and through our referral partners or other external channels, is a major component of the position.
Compensation:
A complete compensation package is finalized at the conclusion of the interview process. It will account for our judgment of core competencies and other relevant factors. The expected pay range for this position begins at $40,000 per year plus commissions based on performance metrics.
