FULL TIME MERCHANT SERVICES OFFICER TREASURY SERVICES
Hours :
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Job Description:
The Merchant Services Officer is responsible for managing, supporting, and growing the Bank's merchant services portfolio. This role serves as the primary point of contact for business customers using card processing, ACH, and electronic payment solutions. The position partners closely with Officers, Treasury Management Services, and third party processors to deliver efficient, compliant, and competitive merchant services.
Responsibilities:
Sales of merchant services to current and non-bank customers Partner with employees throughout the Bank and Treasury Management Services to promote treasury/business banking opportunities. Be a resource for Bank employees for Treasury Products Conduct external marketing to potential customers Onboard new merchant customers, including application review, underwriting coordination, setup, and training Maintain ongoing client relationships by resolving service issues, analyzing statements, and recommending pricing or product enhancements Coordinate with third party processors, vendors, and networks to resolve operational or technical concerns Manage merchant pricing, fee reviews, and contract renewals in accordance with institutional guidelines Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, card brand rules, NACHA regulations, and internal policies Prepare periodic reports on merchant activity, volume trends, profitability, and performance metrics Stay current on industry trends, payment technologies, and regulatory change
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Sales skills and experience helpful
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self -motivated, able to work alone
  • Organization skills
  • Computer skills (Word/Excel) helpful
  • Must have a valid driver license and personal vehicle availability
