WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an MSR I, you'll be the face of Madison Credit Union — often the first person a member talks to when they walk through the door or call with a question.

Your day-to-day will include:

Process member transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and more Issue money orders, cashier's checks, and Visa prepaid gift cards Assist members with check orders and other account needs Balance your teller drawer accurately at the end of each shift Open new member accounts and update account records Answer member questions in person and by phone — warmly and accurately Connect members with products that fit their needs — loans, certificates, overdraft protection, digital banking, and more Process mail and night deposits; keep your station stocked and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need a finance degree — you need the right mindset and a few key skills: Must-Haves ✓ Cash-handling experience with a strong track record of accuracy ✓ Basic math proficiency — comfortable working with numbers under pressure ✓ Genuine interest in people and excellent communication skills ✓ Professional demeanor and a reliable, punctual work ethic Nice-to-Haves ✓ Prior teller or financial institution experience ✓ Experience cross-selling products or services

YOUR GROWTH PATH

The MSR I is just the beginning. Madison Credit Union's five-level MSR career ladder is designed to reward growth, skills, and commitment. After six months with demonstrated performance and completion of required coursework through America's Credit Unions' Center for Professional Development, you'll be eligible to advance to MSR II — with expanded responsibilities, increased pay, and a growing professional profile. From there, the path continues through MSR III (IRA specialization), MSR IV (supervisory functions), and MSR V (senior operational duties).
