Associated Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager, VP to support Middle Market and Corporate Banking relationships through underwriting, credit oversight, and portfolio management. This role plays a critical part in maintaining credit quality, strengthening client relationships, and driving portfolio growth. You'll partner closely with Relationship Managers and senior leaders while expanding your expertise in complex credit and client strategy. Key Accountabilities Manage portfolio administration and risk to ensure compliance with credit policy and regulatory guidelines. Analyze financial statements and loan requests to determine creditworthiness and recommend structure. Partner with Relationship Managers to co-manage client relationships and deliver proactive solutions. Monitor loan performance and financial conditions to protect credit quality and repayment ability. Identify cross-sell opportunities across Treasury Management, Private Banking, Capital Markets, and other bank services. Present credit recommendations and participate in the Loan Approval Process. Support due diligence and renewal processes to drive retention and portfolio growth. Contribute to community and business initiatives to strengthen the bank's regional presence.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of Commercial, Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, or Specialized Banking experience 4+ years managing complex credits Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
