Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a FCC KYC Support Analyst for a Remote position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity.
Within the Compliance Operations Department, this role is responsible for performing processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC/CIP) and assessing the quality of KYC folders. The specialist will perform specialized tasks including quality checking KYC profiles, reviewing the work of analysts, and resolvingplex matters while ensuring operational efficiencies and customer data integrity in accordance with internal policies and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
Ensure operational efficiencies and customer data integrity in accordance with internal policies andpliance with
AML/BSA/OFAC
regulations
Provide quality control of KYC Periodic Review and CIP customer information and assure verification in accordance with AML policy and procedure
Ensure adnce to the client's KYC Program and rmend changes throughpliance with bank policies
Ensure that CIP information and mandatory DD/EDD information is present
Collect from the RM and review, for adequacy and accuracy, all required KYC information and documentation within prescribed time frames
Confirm that verification documents are obtained by the RM and work performed by the ACG Analyst arepleted within a prescribed time frame
Maintain evidence of search results in the KYC system and escalate to the BSA Officer any confirmed or suspected name matches associated with material negative information
Troubleshoot routine and someplex issues with KYC/CIP system and various subsystems to resolution
Provide quality checks for updates made to existing customer records including appropriate documentation review and on alerts or cases
Develop, implement, and maintainpliance programs and policies aligned with FCC standards
Conduct audits, investigations, and reviews to ensure adnce to applicable rules
Collaborate with legal, risk, and operational teams to resolve regulatory issues and mitigatepliance risks
Requirements:
BA / BS or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of specialized experience in Financial Services, specifically back-office operations
Very strong technical knowledge of AML, Bank Secrecy Act, Foreign Asset Control
Very strong level knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer) process and regulations
Experience in regulatorypliance, audit, or risk management
Knowledge of FCC rules,pliance standards, and regulatory frameworks
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpretplex regulations
Proficiency inpliance systems and Microsoft Office applications
Good judgement, sense of urgency and accountability; time-management skills; critical thinking skills
Excellentmunication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
