Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AML/KYC Analyst to join a team in Newark, Delaware. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of compliance measures and risk management processes within a dynamic financial institution. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations, along with a proven ability to perform detailed risk assessments and ensure organizational compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough internal control risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and mitigate potential risks.
  • Perform regular testing of bank processes and products to ensure adherence to AML/KYC and PATRIOT Act regulations.
  • Escalate compliance issues and concerns to appropriate stakeholders while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and implementing policies and procedures related to financial crimes compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance cross-functional compliance and risk management efforts.
  • Support remediation initiatives stemming from internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to improve compliance programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster effective communication.
  • Partner with leadership to design and execute risk self-assessment programs.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall risk management strategies.
